OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
When you place an order with us, you agree to purchase the product(s). After placing the order, an order acknowledgement will be sent to the email address you have provided us with. The offer will only be accepted once the products are ready for dispatch which is when the contract between ourselves and you becomes legally binding. Until then, we reserve the right not to fulfil your order for any reason, such as pricing, listing or stock errors. In the event of such circumstances, the order will be fully refunded.
Wherever possible, we display the latest stock availability on our website. However, errors can occasionally occur. In such circumstances we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible in order to resolve the situation.
INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
All of our images, descriptions, specifications and advertising are correct at the time of creation using information given to us by the distributors and/or manufacturers of the products. With regards to the product dimensions, please be advised that these do not include any protruding features such as handles and control knobs etc. Dimensions depict the measurements of the main body of the product only. Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all dimensions and weights are approximate and should be considered as a guide only.
With regards to the colours and images, we make every effort to correctly represent our products. However, we cannot guarantee that the image displayed on your device accurately represents the product(s) you receive due to variations in colour preferences and set-ups on different devices. Please note that the colours may also vary due to changes in the manufacturing process.
Any customer reviews of the products we sell on our website are solely the opinions of those customers and do not form any part of the item specification(s). We are not liable should any of the information in the reviews prove to be incorrect.
You acknowledge and agree the following:
- The copyright in the photos, video, data, text or any other content used on our website belongs to us and/or our suppliers. Similarly, the overall look and feel of our website belongs to us. You are only permitted to use the material from our website as expressly authorized by us and/or our suppliers.
- We reserve the right to change and/or amend our website and any information contained within without prior notice (please note the terms and conditions applicable at the time of your order will still apply to your purchased product(s)).
All of our displayed prices include VAT but exclude other services, such as delivery, unless otherwise specified on the website.
Occasionally, we may offer products at discounted or promotional prices. Any such offers will only apply to selected products, are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time at our discretion. Delivery charges, conditions and geographical exclusions may apply.
We accept all major credit and debit cards for payment through our website as well as PayPal payments. All transactions are protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to ensure your details are secure.
We reserve the right to cancel any orders, even if you have already received the order confirmation email, should we identify the transaction(s) as being potentially fraudulent.
At Manchester Domestic we aim to provide the best service possible. This includes providing free shipping on all of our appliances to majority of the UK.
The delivery company used will depend on the products purchased.
Unfortunately, occasional damages in transit can occur in which case we would advise our customers to contact us as soon as possible. This is to ensure any issues can be resolved quickly and efficiently.
We advise that the products are checked upon delivery and any issues reported to us as soon as possible for an efficient service.
Please do not install the appliance should there be any visible damage/fault without liaising with one of our agents beforehand.
We also advise that you do not organise fitters until the order has been delivered in case any issues arise with the order.
We advise all our customers not to book any contractors, plumbers or fitters until they have received all of their products in good condition. We aim to deliver all of our orders within the advertised delivery lead times. However, all delivery times are provisional, and we cannot be held responsible for any expenses or costs caused by unexpected delays due to logistics.
If there is an item on your order that is out of stock, a member of our customer care team will contact you with an expected delivery date. If you would like the items in stock to be dispatched immediately, we can arrange this for you and send your other item(s) when they become available.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel at any time before the goods are despatched, regardless of the reason, without any cancellation fees.
If you are not entirely happy with your purchase or no longer require the product, you can return it to us within 30 days of purchase date.
We do require for the product to be in an “as new” condition which means it has to be returned in good condition, including the original, undamaged packaging along with all of the contents.
Should you wish to return a product we would ask you to contact us via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can provide you with the return address and instructions.
Once the return of an item has been confirmed with ourselves, it has to be completed within 14 days. If it arrives any later, we will not be able to issue a refund.
To speed up the identification of your return, we require your full name and order number to be clearly highlighted on the outside of the packaging, in such a way, that it does not damage the original product or the packaging.
Products returned without this information will require identification which can add further time and delays in processing the returns and refunds.
You have a statutory duty to take care of the goods. Damage or distress caused or allowed by you to the product may void your right to return the product. You are responsible for the cost of sending back the goods.
We recommend that goods should be inspected prior to the return and sent by a recorded method of delivery as proof of return may be required. They should also be insured in case the goods are damaged during return transit.
If you do not use insurance and the goods are damaged or lost, you are fully liable for the cost of the goods. If the product is damaged in return transit, if insured, you will be able to put in a claim for reimbursement through the carrier.
We can provide any images or information that you require to process your claim.
Providing that the product is received back in perfect re-saleable condition and in its original packaging we will be able to issue a refund.
If the goods are returned damaged or missing any of the supplied equipment, manuals and accessories or the original packaging, the return will no longer be eligible for a refund.
MISSING, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS
We cannot stress enough how important it is to check your order on delivery. Nearly all our orders arrive on time and in the same excellent condition they left our warehouse. However, if any damage is noticed at the point of delivery the order can be refused and returned with the driver.
In the unlikely event you receive an incomplete order please do contact us as soon as possible so we can confirm the delivery status of the missing product(s). Similarly, if you have received an incorrect item, please get in contact with us as soon as possible for a quick and efficient resolution. We can be reached via email email@example.com. Whilst we understand that you may not want to open and test your item as soon as it arrives, it is very important that you report any issues as soon as possible, preferably on the day of delivery. However, if this isn’t possible, we consider it reasonable to check your items within 3 days of delivery. If you do not intend to use your goods immediately, please open and inspect them before storing. We are unable to accept any damage requests reported outside 30 days of purchase date.
NOTE: Please do not try to fit a damaged item/appliance without calling us for advice first.
To report a damage after delivery, we would require you to send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org stating your order number, purchase date and your full name as well as include any images of the damage to the product and/or packaging so we can deal with the matter as quickly and efficiently as possible.
On rare occasions products may develop a fault. Our policy for dealing with faulty goods is intended to ensure you get the fastest resolution possible and minimize the time you are without a functioning appliance.
The policy for dealing with faulty items differs depending on the product type and when the fault developed. Depending on the above-mentioned circumstances, we will aim to either repair or replace the appliance. If the aforementioned is not viable a refund would be offered. We will offer resolutions according to the timelines outlined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights.
To report a fault with a product, please send an email to email@example.com stating your full name, date of purchase, order number, the product code, serial number and a description of the problem in order for us to deal with your enquiry quickly and efficiently.
